West Palm Beach this month: Dachstoberfest Oct. 18, Clematis by Fright Oct. 29, LagoonFest Oct. 31, the ice rink at The Ben from Nov. 1 and Kravis shows.

For the next few days, see things to do this weekend; for galleries, theater and concerts, see arts and exhibitions this month.

October is when West Palm Beach’s outdoor season starts again. The GreenMarket is back on the waterfront on Saturdays, the Clematis Street antique market runs alongside it, and the city’s free Thursday concerts turn into a Halloween party at the end of the month. In November the Kravis Center’s Broadway season starts and the ice rink at The Ben opens on the waterfront. Times are local. Prices are as the organizer publishes them; “free” means the organizer says free.
