Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. The city’s own Black Friday event is a night market: Nights in Northwood Village, 6 to 9 p.m. on Northwood Road, with more than 50 vendors. Downtown, CityPlace starts its holiday season two weeks earlier, with Santa from Nov. 14 and snowfall every evening.

We list hours only once a center publishes them. As of Oct. 10, neither of the city’s two big shopping centers had posted Thanksgiving or Black Friday hours.

CityPlace’s guest services desk, The Greet House, is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, according to its contact page, and holds bags and luggage for shoppers.

Small Business Saturday and local markets

  • Nights in Northwood Village, Friday, Nov. 27, 6 to 9 p.m., Northwood Road. The city bills it as holiday shopping that “starts local,” with 50-plus vendors selling handmade goods, fashion, art and vintage finds while celebrating Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Music is by Jam-X. Event page.
  • West Palm Beach GreenMarket, Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Waterfront Commons, 101 N. Clematis St., including Nov. 28. The city’s market page says the 32nd season opened Oct. 3. More on our farmers markets guide.
  • West Palm Beach Antique and Flea, Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 300 and 400 blocks of Clematis Street, October through May, according to the market.
  • Clematis Street and Northwood Road are the two strips of independent shops. Downtown’s shops are listed by the Downtown Development Authority at downtownwpb.com.

Santa and holiday events while you shop

  • Santa’s Workshop at CityPlace, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 14 to Dec. 24: 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Free, first come, first served; bring your own camera, CityPlace says. Santa takes a short break during the 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. snowfalls.
  • Nightly snowfall at CityPlace, Nov. 14 to Dec. 31 at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m., weather permitting. Details.
