Inside West Palm Beach’s city limits, bakeries are spread out: two on South Dixie Highway south of downtown, a Cuban bakery on Southern Boulevard and a Caribbean bakery and grill in the plaza at 6901 Okeechobee Boulevard, west of Interstate 95.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside West Palm Beach’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 10, 2026. We added Ganache Bakery from the Downtown Development Authority’s dining directory and its own site, and Hive Bakery & Cafe and Golden Krust from the state’s restaurant license records and their own sites. We checked every address against the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder and the city boundary. Panera Bread at Village Commons and Just Baked on South Narcissus Avenue are in the city, but Panera’s location page refused our requests and Just Baked’s web address now leads to another business, so neither is here. Doughnut and bagel shops are on our ice cream and desserts and breakfast and coffee lists. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Capri Bakery & Restaurant is a family-owned Cuban kitchen and bakery on Southern Boulevard, open since 1986. Its site lists fresh pastries, cakes, café con leche, roast pork and pressed Cuban sandwiches from an early breakfast through dinner, plus music every other Friday evening from 7 to 10 p.m.

Ganache Bakery makes custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, baby showers and other events and teaches baking classes in downtown West Palm Beach, its site says. It takes cake orders online; the site does not post walk-in hours, so call first.

Golden Krust is a Caribbean and Jamaican bakery and restaurant chain. Its store page lists dine-in and takeout, catering, beef patties and coco bread, and bakery items including spice bun, hard dough bread and carrot cake. Its phone here comes from the state license record.

Hive Bakery & Cafe on South Dixie Highway serves breakfast and lunch, happy hour and dinner alongside breads, pastries and specialty cakes, with bakery and cake pre-orders, pickup and delivery online. Breakfast and lunch run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, its site says.
