Palm Beach County public schools are off Monday, March 22, to Friday, March 26, 2027, and students have no school on Monday, March 29, either, so with the weekends students are off 10 days in a row, Saturday, March 20, through Monday, March 29. There is also a one-day spring holiday on Wednesday, March 10. Spring break is not a city holiday: City Hall, the library and trash pickup run normally.

Camps
- City of West Palm Beach. Parks and Recreation runs camps during school breaks at its community centers. Its winter break camp, for example, is at South Olive and Pleasant City community centers for kindergarten to fifth grade and at Gaines Park for sixth to eighth grade, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with registration at parks.wpb.org and proof of city residency required, according to the city’s camp page. The spring 2027 camp has not been posted; call 561-804-4900.
- Cox Science Center and Aquarium, 4801 Dreher Trail North, runs one-day and multi-day science and tech camps on school breaks for ages 5 to 12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with before and after care available, according to its camps page. Its posted schedule runs through February 2027 so far.
- Palm Beach Zoo runs Zoo Camp in summer; its camp page lists no spring break sessions.

- Manatee Lagoon, 6000 N. Flagler Drive. Free admission and parking, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Manatee season runs Nov. 15 to March 31, so spring break is the tail end; there is no guarantee manatees will be there, the center says. Free “Manatee Tales” story time is Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. for ages 3 and up, with registration.
- Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Blvd. Open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., last entry 4:15 p.m.; parking is free. No pets. Plan your visit.
- Cox Science Center and Aquarium, 4801 Dreher Trail North. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. Tickets.
- Grassy Waters Preserve. Free trails and the Cypress Boardwalk off Northlake Boulevard; hours are on our parks and trails guide.
- GreenMarket and the Clematis Street antique market, Saturday mornings on the waterfront in season. See farmers markets.
