Where to find West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County legal notices: hearings, ordinances, budgets, bids and court notices. City Clerk: 561-822-1210.
Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. This page is an index for convenience. It is not the official publication of any notice. The legally required notice is the one in the publication or on the website the law names.
In Florida, cities, counties and courts must publish many decisions before they happen: rezonings, new ordinances, budgets and tax rates, bids, elections, foreclosures and estate cases. In West Palm Beach the City Clerk handles the city’s agendas, election notices and public records requests. This page points to where those notices appear.

How notices are published in Florida
Florida law lets a local government publish legally required notices either in a qualifying newspaper or on its county’s designated public notice website, under section 50.0311 of the Florida Statutes. Palm Beach County’s designated site, pbcfllegalnotices.com, has pages for the governments that use it, among them the Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller, Boca Raton, Wellington, Lake Worth Beach, Greenacres and Royal Palm Beach. It had no West Palm Beach page in the copies we reviewed, so for a city notice, check the newspaper notices on Florida Public Notices as well, or ask the City Clerk.
City meetings and hearings
The mayor and City Commission meet every other Monday at 5 p.m. at City Hall. Rezonings, ordinance readings and budget hearings happen at these meetings. The city’s boards have their own schedules, according to the Planning Division’s boards page:
| Board | Usual meeting |
|---|---|
| Planning Board | Third Tuesday, 6 p.m. |
| Zoning Board of Appeals | First Thursday, 1:30 p.m. |
| Downtown Action Committee | Second Wednesday, 9 a.m. |
| Historic Preservation Board | Fourth Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. |
The Planning Division now emails staff reports for those boards and runs an email notification list for agendas. Commission meetings stream on the city’s YouTube channel.
